A transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) is a non-invasive examination that allows you to observe your heart using a probe placed on the chest and emitting ultrasound. This examination is painless and poses no risk. It is essential for the diagnosis and monitoring of any heart disease. It is also indicated in the monitoring of certain treatments (in particular certain chemotherapies) or before certain surgical interventions.
The Argentine Medical Center has a state-of-the-art ultrasound scanner, offering quality imaging and possessing recent software for semi-automatic analysis of the heart in 3 dimensions and measurement of the deformation or “strain”.
Doctor Nadia Benyounes can also receive you in cardiology consultation for a specialized opinion. An electrocardiogram (ECG) will be systematically carried out during the first consultation, then checked during the follow-up when your state of health requires it. The realization of an ECG is inseparable from a consultation, in order to guarantee the interpretation of the tracing by taking into account all the elements of your medical file.
