NEUROSURGERY

Neurosurgery is the surgical discipline specialized in surgery of the central nervous system (including the brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (including the nerve roots).

The center treats neuro-ophthalmological pathologies (meningiomas, pituitary adenomas), vascular pathologies (aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations) and spinal pathologies (ex herniated discs).

The surgical interventions will take place at the Adolphe de Rothschild Ophthalmological Foundation Hospital (surgery of the base of the skull, orbital tumors and so-called functional surgery which includes the surgical treatment of Parkinson's disease) and which will take charge of adults and children.
